Been shaving for a number many years. Have used these styptic pencils ever due to the fact I began shaving. They’re cheap and yes they paintings for shaving nicks and weepers. NOT for deep cuts with chainsaws. To the those who say they don’t work your both using an excessive amount of water, too little water , or your using them on too huge a cut for it to paintings. I take blood thinners and shave with a DE Razor antique college style and these stop my bleeding. So yea they do indeed paintings just first-rate. There is a learning curve to using them. You need to try them with the stick simply wet. If it doesn’t stop the blood. Dry the stick a bit with TP or a paper towel. Try a bit less water. Also allow the “white haze” dry on your skin for approximately 5 minutes....It WILL burn....Then after rinsing pat the skin dry with a towel. DONT rub or you’ll probable cause it to bleed again. Hope this enables some of you apprehend how those paintings.
