I got the “Oriental Cherry” palette.
This comes with plastic wrapping sealing it. It has an outer product container. Inside, the palette additionally has cardboard round it to defend it, that is continually a pleasant addition. The palette itself appears the same as the outer product field. The back of the container and palette each have substances. The palette is made in China and it has the cruelty loose bunny logo. Inside the palette there was a plastic sheet over the eyeshadow pans. There’s a reflect inside. It isn’t the total size of the lid, however it’s a decent size. The palette is cardboard. It feels exceptional, a decent weight to it. The palette closes with magnetic closure. There are shade names under every pan.
There’s a mix a mattes, mattes with micro glitter, shimmers, and what looks like a pressed glitter.
I had tried any other Lamuseland palette within the beyond I really preferred so I turned into excited to try every other one from them. But, this one became sort of a sadness. There become only 3 appropriate mattes and other than that the 4 shimmers had been splendid.
I did finger swatches of every shade on my clean forearm (no lotion, primer, and many others.).
Most of the mattes wanted three layers to reveal up within the swatches. Most of them felt pretty dry and weren’t easy to select up. The yellow matte (pinnacle row, 2d coloration, “Vitality”) turned into genuinely true, which definitely surprised me. The swatch is simplest 1 layer. The 2 mattes inside the backside row (“Extreme,” that is the primary coloration, and Sunday,” that is the 3rd color) were really proper. Those 3 mattes have been all easy to pick out up and follow. They were gentle, clean, and pigmented. The relaxation had been just a pain to cope with. Took a ton of building up and just kind of combined away. The mattes with micro glitter additionally wanted 3 layers every. The first one (the orange within the top row, closing color - “Spring Day”) became so hard to choose up and felt so gritty and dry. The other one (2nd row, first shade - “Skirt”) felt a little softer and smoother, however nonetheless had to be truely constructed up.
The shimmers have been the only thing I cherished about this palette - The closing 3 sunglasses in the middle row and the ultimate coloration inside the backside row - had been all surely smooth, almost creamy feeling, pigmented, smooth to pick up, and had a pleasing, moist, metallic look to them. Each one is most effective 1 layer inside the swatches.
The backside row, second shade (“Brave”) seemed within the pan find it irresistible became going to be a metallic shade, so I concept it'd become being my favourite shade. It’s the WORST. It felt sooooo dry and gritty. It felt like a pressed glitter however no longer like maximum pressed glitters wherein they’re easy to select up (so clean they've a dependancy of having everywhere). With this one it felt such as you weren’t surely picking some thing up. Then while you went to use it, it might sense simply gritty. It took 4 layers to get it to in which it's miles inside the swatches. It’s now not something I’d use near my eyes with how gritty it feels. I took a more in-depth picture of it, with any luck you may see the difference among it and the others.
Overall, this palette isn’t for me and I can’t recommend it. I love the shimmers so I may also depot those and keep them. But, not the rest of the palette. I am extraordinarily fair skinned with the intention to want to build those up so much even on me says lots! I provide it 2 stars because the four shimmers are beautiful.
